In 2015, a theater company in Korea performed a collection of 7 of my short play, in Korean. They even flew me to Incheon to see the performances, which was a thrill. I was contacted recently by one of the producers of that collection who let me know that they would like to mount 3 of those plays again this month (August, 2023). I’m so happy that my plays have spoken to these theater artists and their audiences. I noticed when I was there that the laughter of a Korean audience sounds exactly like the laughter from an American audience, which reminded me that, no matter how different we are in how we look or talk or eat, we are all brothers and sisters sharing a beautiful planet.

The plays to be performed are Cupid’s Beau, Here to Serve You, and Canyon’s Edge.

My very popular romcom Fighting Mr. Right has been chosen by the Pymble Players of Sydney, Australia for their upcoming Short Form Theater Project, to be performed in December. For some reason my plays do very well in Australia. One of these days I would love to take myself there to see one of these performances.

In May 2023, The Way to a Man’s Heart was performed by Congregation Bet Ha’am in Portland, ME. I guess they didn’t mind that I’m not Jewish myself.

The Way to a Man’s Heart is getting produced all over the place these days. It was performed by the Eagan Theater Company in MN in Spring 2023.

My Jewish-themed play The Way to a Man’s Heart was performed at the Kinkaid School in Houston, TX in Spring 2023.

Fighting Mr. Right, my most popular short play, was performed by Melfort Amateur Dramatics in Saskatchewan, Canada in Mar. 2023.

I’m not sure how they found it, but the International Arts Center in Zagreb, Croatia asked permission to perform my short play Female Dogs in Mar. 2023. I sure wish I could have gone to see it.

Short play My Boyfriend’s Wife about a woman’s visit to the gravesite of her boyfriend’s late wife, was performed in Mar. 2023 by the Broken Key Company at California Lutheran Church in Thousand Oaks, CA.

My first full length play Free, about a man with the unique ability to float (levitate), was performed online in Feb. 2023 by Just Write Lakeland, a company in Florida. I was given the opportunity to cast and direct the reading, so was able to work with some of my favorite Seattle actors.

“Ho Ho Ho” a short, funny monologue about Christmas depression, was performed online by Shiny Unicorn Productions in their Women’s Winter Monologues Festival in Dec. of 2022.
